Magical action and adventures await viewers as ABS-CBN airs the internationally acclaimed Chinese drama series “The Untamed”, starting Monday (October 28) at 10:15 PM on Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney TV, A2Z, and TV5.
“The Untamed” is a drama adaptation of the The New York Times Best Seller novel “Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation” written by Chinese author Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. The series stars Xiao Zhan, known as a member of the Chinese boy group X Nine, and Wang Yibo, who debuted in the Korean-Chinese boy group Uniq.
The series is set in a magical world revolving around two disciples from different respected clans, Wei Wu Xian (Xiao Zhan) and Lan Wang Ji (Wang Yibo). During training, they meet and accidentally uncover a dark mystery that has been hidden for many years. Together, they decide to rid the world of this ominous threat, ultimately leading to Wei Wu Xian’s death.
Sixteen years later, Wei Wu Xian is brought back to life through a self-sacrificing ritual. Now concealing his identity behind a mask, he takes on a new persona. Soon, he reunites with Lan Wang Ji, and together they begin to solve the mysteries of the present, unraveling the hidden truths behind past events.
